Alan McDonald – MAICD, Dip Acc, has over 25 years working within the construction industry. Alan commenced with Aerodynamic Developments Manufacturing as a Group Accountant for the Ryman Group of Companies before moving into a General Manager role.
Alan and business partner Paul Johnson purchased Aerodynamic Developments Manufacturing in 2002. Re-branded in 2008 to Dynamic Composite Technologies, the company has maintained strong and consistent growth to become Australia’s leading distributor of Dow Building Solutions, Crane Composites, Proctor Group Australia, Nvelope Rainscreen Cladding, Crane Composites and Vetroresina Fiberglass sheeting.
Paul Johnson started in the UK insulation industry in 1986 with Warren Insulation, distributors of insulation, plasterboard and related building products throughout the UK.
In 1996 Paul moved to Australia to begin work with Aerodynamic Developments Manufacturing, national distributors for DOW Building Solutions and Crane Composites. Paul spent 18 months based in Sydney before moving to Melbourne to establish a new office. Over the next 4 years Paul worked directly with architects, designers, contractors and establishing a national distribution network. Paul has worked closely with many highly regarded architects on several prominent projects including NGA and Federation Square.
Paul returned to the UK in 2001 and joined the A Proctor Group, specialising in architectural presentations, CPD Seminars for Proctor breatherable membranes, Dow Styrofoam thermal insulation, acoustic insulation and geoengineering membranes applications.
In 2003 Paul emigrated to Australia with his family, where he and business partner, Alan McDonald purchased Aerodynamic Developments Manufacturing. Andy Russell has worked in the field of condensation in Europe with UK based building envelope specialists A Proctor Group. Andy has also worked in Japan for 7 years including a spell on secondment to Daiwa House, a major prefabricated steel frame house manufacturer. He also conducted research into the performance of construction membranes at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. Andy has been in Australia since 2007 and was a member of the group writing the “Condensation Handbook” published in 2011 by the Australian Building Codes Board and presented across Australia on the subject to several industry associations and as part of the 2011 Australian Institute of Architects Refuel National Seminar Series.
Stuart Haynes has been involved in the commercial construction industry for over 35 years with significant experience in dealing with, bulk insulation rigid panels and reflective foil systems.
Stuart, has been actively involved with specification sales with a concentration for developing new business and project management in NSW, QLD and ACT market place. Stuart has a proven track record within the construction industry.
Tony Hopkins has been involved in the commercial construction industry for over 30 years with significant experience in dealing with, bulk insulation rigid panels and reflective foil systems.
Tony will provide sound thermal and technical advice on any system requirement and assist with the correct choice of product for a particular application.
Tony also has a wealth of experience in dealing with architects, building surveyors, resellers, builders and contractors to ensure the best possible outcomes for all customers
Alex George is an innovative technical product and business development professional, with over 20 years of management experience in the construction and building supply industry.
Alex is an expert in product design and solution based selling, working closely with designers, engineers and asset holders.
Alex has proven history in research and development of aluminium, plastics and composite materials to commercialise sales opportunities and streamline manufacturing and installation processes. A sound understanding of lean manufacturing principles and systems engineering supported by a dual degree in Metal Fabrication Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
