Cairns Tropical Enterprise Centre
This $50M project at James Cook University will stand alongside Cairns Hospital’s new 32-bed surgical centre on Charles Street in North Cairns, as part of the Far North Queensland Health Innovation Precinct. The building will house a centre for clinical teaching, training and research in medicine, allied health and related disciplines – all aligned to the needs of the Cairns region and its health workforce.
Products & Application
Wraptite was chosen as the airtight weather protection layer for its self-adhesive properties and was installed over the plywood substrate that supports the cladding. HC8 was then used as a void former over the Wraptite to ensure moisture forming behind the copper tiles will safely drain away.
