STYROFOAM RTM-X
Details
Styrofoam™ RTM-X extruded polystyrene (XPS) thermal insulation distributed by DCTech, is recommended as a core material in sandwich panels for the walls, floors, roofs and doors in refrigerated trucks and containers.
With long term proven performance and creep data, Styrofoam™ RTM-X XPS thermal insulation is an ideal engineered product that designers may confidently specify in today’s increasingly highly loaded floor designs. For sandwich panel cores, the lightweight, close tolerance, dust-free surface allows for excellent bonding to a wide variety of sheet materials.
Styrofoam™ RTM-X XPS rigid insulation has been specifically designed to withstand severe dynamic loads and stresses which may eventually lead to fatigue and failure. It is specially designed to resist such force and in tests has been shown to perform extremely well under dynamic load cycling.
Styrofoam™ RTM-X XPS insulation is manufactured through a continuous extrusion process, and as with all Styrofoam insulation products possess a rigid closed cell structure with unique properties such as low thermal conductivity, high resistance to water penetration and high compressive strength.
Styrofoam™ RTM-X XPS thermal insulation is produced in a range of thicknesses and is grooved on both facers. Styrofoam™ XPS insulation products are not biodegradable in the environment, and do not present an environmental hazard in the water/soil compartment. When correctly installed, Styrofoam™ XPS insulation products have a service life comparable with the remainder of the building or structure. Styrofoam™ XPS boards can be reused, even after having been installed for decades.

PROCTORGEO VAP 120
Details
ProctorGeo Vap120 is a light duty vapour retarder and convection barrier. The high air and water vapour resistance of the two layer polyolefin non-woven membrane resists the flow of vapour by both diffusion and air movement through wall, ceiling and floor assemblies thus helping protect the building fabric and insulation from condensation and related problems such as mould, timber rot, corrosion and loss of thermal resistance.
When installed as a continuous layer, ProctorGeo Vap120 will help form an air tight layer reducing the loss of heated air or cooled air from the building thus improving the energy efficiency of the building enclosure.
Vapour retarder should be ProctorGeo Vap120 vapour retardant membrane, tested to AS/NZS 4200,1:1994 standards, secured in accordance with product user guide.

PROCTORGEO D-RAIN DC8 PLUS
Details
ProctorGeo IRMA is designed for use as a separating layer in ballasted or paved Inverted Roof Membrane Assembly (IRMA) flat roofs. ProctorGeo IRMA acts as a filter layer preventing fines and other debris from passing through, and also as a water flow reducing layer minimising cold rainwater flowing between the insulation and the roof waterproofing thus reducing the consequent rainwater cooling effect.
Rainwater that penetrates IRMA roof systems reaching the waterproof layer can impact on the thermal performance of the construction. To take account of this loss in thermal performance, the initial R-value of the roof should be corrected by subtracting a rainwater correction factor (determined using the method described in BS EN ISO 6946:2007) dependent on local rainfall and the proportion of rainwater reaching the waterproof layer under the insulation.
This can be substantially reduced by incorporating ProctorGeo IRMA as a water-flow reducing layer directly above the insulation, to drain rainwater off the roof before it reaches the waterproof layer.
ProctorGeo IRMA is impermeable to liquid water and substitutes conventional fleece filter fabrics that do not perform as an effective water draining separation layer.

- High vapour permeability
- Water resistance up to 2.5m head of water
- UV stable for up to 2 months exposure in Australia and New Zealand
- Resistance to the effects of lime water, sodium chloride solution and sulphurous acid in concentrations required by EN 1847
