Residential timber structure tiled roof with a suspended horizontal ceiling. The rigid thermoset PIR insulation board forms a continuous air and vapour control layer at the ceiling with further ceiling insulation added above. The vapour permeable sarking, provides drainage of any moisture or condensate forming below the tiles. Suitable for ventilated and unventilated roofs.
Roof sarking/ wall wrap should be Enviroseal ProctorWrap HTS/ HTS-IT (with integarted tape) vapour permeable sarking membrane, compliant to AS/NZS 4200.1:2017, secured directly to the outside of the roof/wall framing in accordance with the product user guide. AS/NZS 4200.1:2017 Classifications: Duty – Medium, Water Control – Water Barrier, Vapour Control – Class 4 Vapour Permeable, AS1530.2 Flammability Index ≤ 5, Air Control – Air barrier, Electrical Conductivity – Non conductive, Emissivity – Non reflective, Vapour Permeance to ASTM E96(B) no less than 2.5µg/N.s. Thickness <1.0mm. Foil type sarkings do not comply with this specification.
DCT PIR Silver insulation is a general application thermoset PIR insulation board with two low emissivity foil facings, suited for use in non-exposed floor, roof, wall and ceiling applications in residential and commercial buildings.
