DCT VULCANWOOL THERMAL LAMINATE

Details:

A laminate of DCT Vulcanwool non-combustible insulation bonded to plasterboard, designed principally as an internal lining to improve the requirement for acoustic and thermal insulation for new build and refurbishment projects. VulcanWool thermal laminate provides a cost-effective and fire-safe means of achieving excellent levels of thermal insulation coupled with good acoustic insulation.

VulcanWool characteristics:

Non-combustible, water repellent, rot-proof stonewool material offering excellent thermal, acoustic, and fire protection insulation.

VulcanWool insulation products do not contain blowing agents with an ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP), are CFC-HCFC-HFC free, and 97% recyclable. They will not react with metal components or cause loss of plasticiser from PVC cables and pipes.

Will not transmit water, due to the presence of water repellent additives. However, the product should not be used as protection against driving rain penetration; any external wall to which VulcanWool is to be applied must resist moisture penetration.
