Standing seam cladding on a thermally broken timber framed wall, insulated within the frame and protected by a vapour permeable, air & water tight ProctorWrap sarking fixed to the outside of the frame with a vented and drained cavity. The SmartVap intelligent air barrier membrane installed to the inside of the timber frame forms a continuous air and vapour control layer and is best fixed behind a batten to form a service cavity behind the plasterboard.
