SDA5

SFS SDA5 – A4 (316 grade) austenitic stainless steelself drilling clamping fastener for rainscreen aluminium bracket/rail connections. The head form is available in the industry standard 8 mm hex head and SR2 internal drive.

It features a new patent pending thread geometry and optimized drill point. It fixes pre-punched stainless steel or aluminium cladding support sections to aluminium sections with a thickness of 1.5 mm or more, securely, and permanently.

Under the head is a unique thread geometry, which enables the aluminium rail/ bracket to be clamped tightly together and prevent over torqueing on fixed point applications. It also allows thermal movement on sliding point applications.
