The SmartVap intelligent air barrier membrane installed to the inside face of the frame must be taped and sealed to form a continuous air and vapour control layer and is best fixed behind a batten to forms a service cavity behind the plasterboard. As the VulcanWool insulation and thermal break strip and both deemed non-combustible, this solution is suitable for type A or B non-combustible wall construction.
