  1. Inverted Roof Membrane Assembly (IRMA) concrete roof, insulated externally with a moisture resistant high compressive strength XPS insulation that serves to protect the membrane from UV exposure and maintains the roof slab at a stable temperature. The insulation is weighted down by a stone ballast loaded above a drainage layer with integrate geotextile to manage drain rainwater above the insulation layer.
  2.   4. Inverted Roof Membrane Assembly (IRMA) concrete roof with pavers on pedestals, insulated externally with a moisture resistant high compressive strength DCT GA300 XPS insulation that serves to protect the membrane from exposure and maintains the roof slab at a stable indoor temperature. A water resistant ProctorGeo IRMA geotextile installed above the insulation manages rainwater to minimise rainwater cooling below the insulation.
  5. A concrete roof, usually with a suspended ceiling, internally insulated with a foil faced rigid thermoset PIR insulation. The PIR insulation is mechanically fixed directly to the underside of the slab and must be taped and sealed to form a continuous air and vapour barrier preventing internal moisture vapour from condensing on the underside of slabs at below dew point temperature. This solution is often used a compromise where external insulation is not an available option such to the underside of balconies where the insulation should also extend a further minimum 600mm inside the perimeter of the condition space above the slab.

Flat CLT roof protected by a self-adhered vapour permeable Wraptite SA sarking, insulated externally with a non combustible Vulcanwool stonefibre insulation that maintains the CLT roof at a stable temperature. The roof system is clad with a pitched metal roof supported by a substructure with a vapour permeable ProctorWrap HTS sarking draped under roofing battens provides drainage of any moisture below the roof sheet.
  10. Flat CLT roof protected by a self-adhered vapour permeable Wraptite SA sarking, insulated externally with a non combustible Vulcanwool stonefibre insulation that maintains the CLT roof at a stable temperature. The roof system is clad with a pitched metal roof supported by a substructure with a vapour permeable ProctorWrap HTS sarking draped under roofing battens provides drainage of any moisture below the roof sheet.

The insulation is weighted down by a stone ballast loaded above a drainage layer with integrated geotextile to manage rainwater above the insulation layer. Required fall in roof can be provided either by the CLT or a cut to fall XPS insulation.
