INSULATED STEEL FRAME RAINSCREEN WITH FLEXIBLE AIR BARRIER
Steel frame wall with a flexible water and air tight vapour permeable ProctorPassive RS-IT, insulated with a non-combustible Vulcanwool stonewool insulation and protected by a rainscreen cladding supported by the Nvelope engineered helping hand sub-framing system. The insulation is contained within the frame. As the Vulcanwool insulation is deemed non-combustible per AS1530.1, this solution is recommended for type A or B non-combustible wall construction. It is recommended that the steel frame is thermally broken.
